My Thoughts

This fun chapter book reminds me a little of The Wizard of Oz, which is one of my favorite movies. I love the illustrations and descriptions in this story. They really capture your imagination as you’re reading it.

Magelica’s Voyage teaches a lesson of love and that love is all you need to be happy. It teaches the reader to love herself and that she is perfect just the way she is.It makes me so happy to find a children’s book with a great message like this. This is a must-read for all pre-teens, in my opinion.
